Usage Instructions

MPS150 Reverse Osmosis Flocculant is a water-soluble organic polymer electrolyte with high ionic strength and good water solubility. It is not affected by low water temperature, does not form gel, is hydrolysis stable, and particularly suitable for various water sources. It effectively reduces SDI values and minimizes membrane fouling. It can be used with reverse osmosis membranes and TFC membrane elements from Dow Chemical (Dow Filmtec), Hydranautics, and domestic manufacturers, as well as nanofiltration membrane elements.

Usage Requirements

Dosage:

When using, it is recommended to prepare a 3-5% concentration aqueous solution, preferably using reverse osmosis product water or desalted water for preparation.

When used alone, the dosage is 1-2 mg/l. When used in combination with other coagulants (aluminum salts, iron salts), the dosage is 0.3-0.7 mg/l. The appropriate dosage can be determined through beaker tests based on actual site conditions.

Dosing Point:

Generally selected before the multi-media filter, directly dosed by a metering pump, or mixed thoroughly with raw water by the feed pump suction.
